Dear all students,
All students are hereby informed of the following amendments to the rules and regulations of examination, to be implemented from the academic year 2026-27.
1. The in-semester evaluation (i.e. ISE I and II of each 20 marks for the duration of 45 minutes) for all registered theory courses is to be conducted for regular UG and PG students only. These regular students have to appear for the End Semester Examination (ESE), worth 60 marks, for a duration of 2 hours, as per existing norms. The evaluation format for the theory course for regular students will be 20+20+60 marks.
2. The regular students should appear for the examination of two theory courses per day for the ISE I and ISE II examinations.
3. An End Semester Examination (ESE) of 100 marks for the duration of 3 hours will be conducted only for the students who will be registering for backlog/reappearing theory courses. This examination will be based on the entire syllabus of the course and will be conducted immediately after regular end semester examination (ESE) of respective semester. The Relative/absolute grading system for the backlog / reappear courses will be remains unchanged as per existing norms.
4. The rules for the summer examination will remain the same for all the students appearing for the said examination.
All students are informed to take note of the above changes.
